Why are cellphone bills so high?!

Let’s face it in today’s world we all need to have some type of cell or phone service just for security purposes. But why are the leading service providers so high? I mean really I recently went on a crusade myself to lower my cell phone bill. Why? you say. Because I am so sick and tired of paying a phone bill that is almost $200.00 a month. I don’t know about you but I can definitely think of better things to do with an extra $150.00. During my research of no contract providers I came up with the following companies that are well known and have pretty high ratings.
- Straight Talk
- Mint Mobile
- Visible
While I have used Straight Talk in the past and absolutely loved the service, at the time I used it mobile hotspot was not included which at that time was fine. That has now changed. For me and my lifestyle having a Hotspot is absolutely a must for the trips in the car with my children that need to stay entertained on their tablets. Another great addition to Straight Talk since I moved over to my previous servicer is that they now have the option of getting a new phone and financing through a third party payment option. SmartPay, Paypal are the options that captured my attention the most.
A company that is owned by Verizon! Well not that really caught my attention. After reviewing the site Visible there was one plan for everyone, you are on Verizon towers, and you have unlimited talk, text, and hotspot! All for $40.00 a month. That to me is $100.00 – $160.00 savings. I figure what do I have to lose by giving the service a go. I am not bogged down with a contract, and the extra money can go into my savings or paying off debt.
So I signed up and ported my number from my previous service provider and am now a customer with Visible. I have really high hopes for the service, and honestly look forward to a long cellular relationship!

Writing has always been a passion of mine. Since a young age writing was a very needed way of escaping to places unknown. I remember writing my first "book" in my bedroom as a youngling. The love of poetry and writing just continued to grow through my adolescent, teen, and adult years. I never really shared my stories or poetry with anyone until I was older and more comfortable with rejection. Expressing my feelings through words is something that no one can ever take from me. Today as a mother of two rambunctious children I find myself writing educational, poetry, and romance works of art. In my educational works you can always find a hidden message that hopefully will make you not only evaluate yourself but think about others. My romance novels and poems are super steamy and definitely for a mature audience. No matter the genre that I am writing for I just hope that the world enjoys every moment.
