Goose Creek Candles is a gem of a company that I found one day while searching for an alternative to buying Bath and Body Works candles. Although I love BBW I never buy a candle that is full price. Being a mom of two with a mortgage and other responsibilities I pride myself on finding deals and saving money. With that in mind you can only imagine how excited I was when I found Goose Creek Candles. Not only does Goose Creek have a huge selection of candles it also has wax melts, soaps, bath items, lotions, and much more.

According to the Goose Creek Candles website the company is ” is a family-owned company that was founded by Chuck Meece in the small Kentucky town of Liberty in 1998.”

Affordability

I have been very happy with the candles that I have had delivered to my home so much that I have become a repeat a customer. To be honest with you Goose Creek most times has better prices than BBW. I have taken part in many of the sales like Buy 3 Get 4 Free, 3 wicks for as low as $6.99, or the current summer sale where there are lots and lots of goodies on clearance.

Throw Approved

Just like with any other candle the throw just depends on the fragrance mix. One of my most favorite Candles from Goose Creek is “Fresh Laundry”. The fragrance and throw of this candle is absolutely amazing and I personally give it a 10 out of 10. I have had one or two that I just did not vibe with when it came to the overall fragrance however, my niece and sister loved them.

According Goose Creek all candles are “made of a soy wax blend and have 3x the fragrance than traditional candles. Each candle quickly fills any room with fragrance, small or large.” All the candles that I have or have tried burn evenly, and the fragrance last until the very last drop. The only thing that I do recommend with any candle is to make sure to trim your wicks before lighting and use the top given to put out your flames.

Packaging with Goose Creek is the best that I have ever seen from any candle company. Your candles are secured in candle crates, with packing paper, and bubble wrap. Then to make sure that nothing moves around they use an extra candle crate to secure your delivery. I have only had one delivery with broken items at no fault of Goose Creek, they were damaged by the shipping partner during transit.

I called Goose Creek customer service the next morning during business hours and let them know of the damaged items and they replaced them all.
