So how many of you 80’s babies have waited impatiently for the Sanderson sisters to return? Oh yes! I have my hand raised as well. To be quite honest every Halloween since I was a child I watch Hocus Pocus. I now have also exposed my children to the enchanting mischievous charm of the infamous Sanderson sisters. There is absolutely nothing better on a cool Fall night than cozying up with a blanket, snacks, and a little bit of witchery.

I have to be honest and say Disney and the actors did not disappoint with this new movie. Reliving my youth and watching the Sanderson sisters come to life again on the big screen was amazing. I was glued to my television the entire movie with smiles galore.

Hocus Pocus Cast

The cast of Hocus Pocus is simply movie magic. My favorite character of all is, drumroll, please! That’s right Winifred Sanderson played by Bette Midler is my absolute favorite spell wielding sister of all. I loved her character in 1993 with the first Hocus Pocus and I still find myself waiting with high anticipation to see what wickedness Winnie will conjure up next.

I was happy to see that most of the main characters were brought back in this film. Especially Winnie’s undead love interest Billy Butcherson. I mean would it really be Hocus Pocus without our walking dead friendly zombie Billy?

What’s The Plot?

Ok, so come a little closer and I will tell you everything about the movie you need to know!

I mean really I’m an author do you really think I would spoil the fun? Absolutely not! The great thing about the movie is that you can watch Hocus Pocus 2 in your pajamas alone or with friends and family from the comfort of your home. The movie is available on Disney+ if you have a subscription.

Watch Parties With A Little Hocus Pocus

I know that I am not the only one that has seen the cute watch parties created around the movie’s release. My Facebook feeds have been taken over by Disney lovers all over the world. The creativity of the get togethers I saw was much needed in today’s stressful world. Who would have thought a little Hocus Pocus would break up the monotony of our days and put a huge smile on the faces of millions?

Conclusion

To conclude this fun post, what a great way to start off the month of October. The Sanderson sisters are welcome on my screen anytime. I hope you all have a bewitching weekend and lots of fun while watching this new family favorite full of music, fun, and laughs.
