How many of you have your favorite time or part of the day? I know I do. to be quite honest I rarely have time for myself because my house is so busy with my family and their friends during the day. As a mom and writer, I completely understand how important it is to be able just to tune out the noise.

The most favorite time of my day is in the morning when no one is awake but me, myself, and I. I love to wake up on my own with no alarm clocks, make coffee, and breakfast, crank up my laptop, and heater, and just write. There is nothing like a quiet moment to just get your mind together and relax. No one screaming mommy, no dogs barking, just me, the sunrise, my coffee, and God.

As I have gotten older self-care has become more vital in my personal well-being. As you are preparing yourself for a new week make sure that you add some self-care in there for yourself. Sundays as many of you know are my reset days and the time that I try to schedule out as much of my week as possible.

Being able to go through my calendar and content journal is important because it keeps my blog up to date and me on task. Last week I published my latest children’s book “Saving Christmas”, Met my blog post quota and this week new goals are already underway.
