The passion to write for me comes naturally and to be honest I’m really glad. I have always written short stories, poetry, and journal inserts. Writing allows me to release stress and doubts about my days. I just finished my latest children’s book and am in process of publishing it. It excites me to know that my work is in the public eye.

Bringing in the Experts

Of course, I bring in my experts and get their opinions on the characters, plots, and overall storylines for any of my children’s books. My daughter always reads my stories while they are in rough draft and lets me know if she doesn’t understand something, or if a graphic needs a little more pizazz. She really gets a kick out of being my helper. It also has helped her strengthen her writing, and comprehension skills.

Easily Creating Fabulous Art With Canva

As I’ve mentioned in many of my blog posts I use Canva as my graphic design tool of choice. The ease of using Canva’s click-and-drop features makes the software top-of-the-line in my opinion. When writing my books The graphics help pull the stories together. Especially for children that are just learning to read. I love to tell stories with hidden meanings or messages. My upcoming story’s hidden meaning is forgiveness with a little twist of magic.

Signing up for Canva is easy and affordable because the platform has a free for life option available to everyone. However, if you are a content creator or someone who designs pins or visuals for social media I highly recommend going with Canva Pro.

Blogging

Writing for my blog is fun and full of surprises. Thankfully my blog is monetized. SNGeter.com is still new however, I am working daily to get my blog and name out more on social media. I can honestly say I am still working to build my monthly income from blogging in hopes of taking my passion into a full-time career. I also utilize most social media and my favorite is Pinterest. How I write

The way I set up my space to write is simple enough. I always have my personal heater or fan going, weird I know but hey that’s me. I am either super cold or super hot. I always have audible, music or a tv show going in my ear just because my mind is always on the go when I’m writing. Last but not least I love candles, so most times I have them burning. The smell of a candle can change the whole atmosphere of your space. Either way, how do you set up your office space?
